How to Prepare for Your Senior Photo Shoot
When it comes to doing a senior photo shoot, the most important thing is that you’re excited, happy & comfortable! And just to get the most out of your upcoming session, here are a few more things you can do:
1. Practice your poses
Take a look online for some inspiration or just play around in front of a mirror. It makes for much more captivating photo when there is a unique & interesting pose to bring you in. I will always have some great ideas too, but you might as well come ready to strike a pose! When you are in front of the camera, you’ll want to flow from pose to pose. You’ll want to move a little & hold. Move a little, & hold. It should feel natural & be a fun experience!

2. Self Care & Relaxation
Take good care of yourself & get a good night’s rest before the day of the shoot. I recommend doing a mud mask to relax as well as cleanse your skin. You could also try listening to a guided meditation.

3. Wardrobe Prep
Bring 3-5 outfits. In general I recommend not wearing anything too dark or too light. And I would avoid anything with busy patterns. A plain, mid-tone outfit will put the focus on your lovely self. And make sure you feel confident & beautiful in these clothes!

4. Shine Your Light
Be confident & bring the energy. It’s normal to get a little nervous before a photo shoot, so just remember you’re a goddess & shine your light!
